Feedback Session on Monday
New idea;
- wetlands
- what if I switch the greenery and the water??
- try to collect the most of the water on the roof
- think of the green sandwich and the space needed for the drainage system
Research:
Rooftop area- 2938 m2
Average annual rainfall- 890 mm
2938 x 890= 2.6 million litre per year
sharp (after evaporation and plants usage) 1.8 – 2.3 million litre
Average daily rainfall amount during heavy rainfall- 30 mm= 88.000 litre
Wetland; Wetlands are transitional land areas, such as swamps, marshes, and bogs, that are periodically or permanently saturated with shallow water. They function as vital ecosystems that act as natural filters, reduce flooding, and provide critical habitats for biodiversity, while also serving as major carbon sinks.
